The 47th founding anniversary of the BNP was celebrated in Singra, Natore on Wednesday.
A colourful rally took place at 11 am and after parading the main roads of the city, a rally was held at the Upazila Muktomancha.
BNP National Executive Committee member and former MP from Natore-3 (Singra) constituency, Professor Kazi Golam Morshed, spoke as the chief guest, presided over by Faizunnesa Putul, convener of the Upazila BNP membership recruitment, union and ward election management committee.
Natore District BNP Member Secretary Md. Asaduzzaman Asad spoke as the main speaker, District BNP Joint Convener Zillur Rahman Khan Chowdhury Babul, Saiful Islam Aftab, District BNP Joint Convener, former Singra Upazila BNP General Secretary and BNP nominated paddy sheaf candidate in the 2018 11th National Parliament election Daudar Mahmud, District BNP Member Principal Anwarul Islam Anu, Municipal BNP Member Collection and Ward Election Management Committee Md. Sakhawat Hossain Sakha, Member Secretary Tayezul Islam, Upazila BNP Member Collection, Union and Ward Election Management Committee Member Secretary Sharful Islam Bulbul, Upazila BNP former Joint Convener Barrister Yusuf Ali, etc.
Present at the event were Upazila Jubo Dal convener Habibur Rahman, member secretary MA Malek, Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal convener Abdullah Al Kafi, member secretary Abul Hasan Dablu, Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Shahadat Hossain Mintu, Municipal Chhatra Dal convener Muktar Hossain, Singra Gol-e Afroz Government College Chhatra Dal president Mehedi Hasan Lemon.
