Coast Guard arrests notorious terrorist in Teknaf

The Coast Guard has arrested a notorious terrorist with 01 foreign pistol, 01 pistol magazine and 05 rounds of live ammunition from Shahparir Island in Teknaf.
Lieutenant Commander Md. Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Wednesday noon.
According to intelligence sources, an armed terrorist is staying in the Shahparir Island East Para area of Sabrang Union in Teknaf. Based on the information received, a special operation was conducted by BCG Station Teknaf and Outpost Shahpari at 2 am today, January 29, 2025. During the operation, a search was conducted and a notorious terrorist, Moja Alam (27), was arrested along with 01 9 mm foreign pistol, 01 pistol magazine and 05 rounds of live ammunition.
The arrested terrorist along with all the seized evidence was handed over to Teknaf Police Station for further legal action.
