7 arrested in Walton Plaza theft case in Narail

Seven people have been arrested in the theft case at Walton Plaza in Kalia, Narail.
Police arrested seven thieves involved in the theft case at Walton Plaza in Kalia Upazila, Narail with the help of information technology.
The police conducted raids in various places in Jessore and Khulna districts throughout the day on Wednesday.
Six laptops and four mobile phones stolen from them were recovered during this time. On Thursday (January 30) morning, Kalia Police Station Investigation Officer IO Subrata Debnath confirmed the arrest.
The arrested persons in the theft case at Walton Plaza are - Laden, son of Nazrul Sheikh of Nurpur Uttarpara village of Kotwali police station in Jessore district, Raju Molla, son of Babul Molla of Haji village of Dighlia police station in Khulna district, Tuas Molla, son of Humayun Molla of the same village, Aslam Sheikh, son of the deceased Hannan Sheikh of Kashipur village of Khalishpur police station, Billal Miah, son of the deceased Nurul Haque Miah, Kazi Wasif Hasan Monir, son of the deceased Kazi Ashraf Hossain, and Qurban, son of Golam Ali of Housing Bazar area.
In this regard, Kalia police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Rashidul Islam said that the arrested persons were sent to court.
Besides, efforts are underway to recover the remaining laptops and mobile phones.
