Businessman dies after being electrocuted in Burichang

A businessman Abul Hossain (45) tragically died after being electrocuted while charging the battery of an autorickshaw in Abidpur village of Burichong upazila of Cumilla on Thursday afternoon.
Local UP member M Zakir Hossain and artist Akhter said, on Thursday afternoon, autorickshaw and CNG businessman Md. Abul Hossain, son of Md. Hanif Miah of the house of Phul Mia Fakir of Abidpur village of Mokam union of the upazila, got entangled in an electric wire while charging an autorickshaw in his garage. People nearby saw him stuck in the electric wire and turned off the main switch. Later, he was rescued and taken to Kabila Eastern Medical College and Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
