BNP holds joy rally in Tajumuddin as Major Hafiz becomes interim President

Upazila BNP held a joyous procession in Tajumuddin, Bhola as Speaker and Bhola-3 (Tajumuddin-Lalmohan) constituency MP, freedom fighter Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram assumed the charge of acting president.
A colourful joyous procession was taken out from the Upazila BNP party office at around 5:30 pm on Friday.
The procession circled the main roads of Tajumuddin town and ended with a short rally. Upazila BNP President Golam Mostafa Mintu and General Secretary Omar Asad Rintu led the joyous procession.
At that time, Upazila BNP Vice President Zakir Hossain Howlader, Shahdat Hossain Patwari, Hasan Safa Pintu, Mohiuddin Zulfikar, Gias Panchayat and various leaders and activists of Upazila BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations were present.
The speakers at the rally said that the assumption of the responsibility of the valiant freedom fighter Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram as the acting President is a matter of pride for the people of Tajumuddin and Lalmohan of Bhola-3 constituency. They expressed hope that through his discharge of his duties, the constitutional continuity and democratic progress of the country will be further strengthened.
The speakers also said that not only the people of Bhola-3 constituency, but the people of the entire country are happy and proud of receiving this responsibility. On this occasion, a festive atmosphere prevailed among the leaders and activists and they congratulated each other at the end of the procession.
