The BSMRSTU administration seems to be indifferent to the development of the simply built (tin and brick walls above) temple. Sanatani students are not getting enough facilities despite applying several times in the last few years. There is no kitchen for cooking in the event.

As the temple is built in an open field, even a little rain causes waterlogging on the temple road. There is no fresh water system in the temple. Priests were not appointed. The administration is playing a silent role even talking about construction of toilets. The central temple of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology (BSMRSTU) University in Gopalganj is plagued with such allegations.

It is known that in 2014, the then Vice-Chancellor of the University Naseeruddin laid the foundation stone of the mosque and the temple at the same time. After laying the foundation stone, the construction of the mosque was completed on time. However, the work of building the temple, which was awaited by Sanatani students, is neglected.

After that the students started building the temple on their own initiative. It is said that the administration is blocking it. Some students were also allegedly threatened with expulsion.

There is no priest in the temple for a long time. Therefore Sanatani students perform their religious ceremonies on their own initiative. It is said that even after contacting the university administration several times regarding the appointment of priests, the administration has evaded responsibility there.

When asked about this, the general secretary of the 2020-21 committee of the temple, Shekhar Sarkar, said that it is normal to have a priest in the university central temple, because since the temple belongs to the university, appointing a priest is also the responsibility of the administration. But it is sad to say that even though the temple has been in the university for 10 years, the administration has not paid much attention to the temple. He also said that we have requested several times from the administration to appoint a priest in the temple, and even submitted a petition, but we did not get any results except for the assurance from the administration.

Partha Pratim Kundu, a student of the Department of International Relations for the academic year 2018-19, said, "We are really desperate." Contacting the university administration about these issues was of no avail. Provision of food and water has been made in all places of this university, but the Sanatani temple remains. He said that every week 300-400 Sanatani students come to the temple to pray. Stays inside the temple in intense heat for 3-4 hours. After a long time, nature calls him to go to the toilet. But a toilet has not been constructed here. I think it is really shameful for the university named after Bangabandhu.

On the surface, every week the department wise Sanatani students organize a prayer meeting in the temple. About three to four hundred students attended. Food and water are required for cooking and food in temples. But there is no food and water system. No house was built even for cooking. Students cook under the open sky under the trees. Sometimes they have to do these things in the hot sun, sometimes in the rain.

Although reverse osmosis water supply is available in all places of the university, it is not provided in the temple. As a result, students purchase more than 200 liters of water from outside every week and complete their program.

According to the sources of Sanatani students of the university, there is no toilet near the temple. It is said that although the students have applied several times for the construction of toilets, no initiative is being taken from the administration.

Sanatani students of the university are suffering from so many problems in the temple, but why is the administration silent? In response to such questions, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AQM Mahbub said, they came to me on these issues. I have asked the engineer of engineering department to take action in this regard. But they are not done yet.

Even after receiving the permission of the vice-chancellor, the planning department has not started working, so is the planning department not obeying the vice-chancellor? Or something else!
