Bird hunter gets 6 months jail in Domar

Bird hunter Abul Hossain (63) was detained for secret information and was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and fined Tk 1000 on Wednesday.
In Chilahati of Union. With the help of the police, bird hunter Abul Hossain was arrested from his house along with the birds by Domar Upazila Executive Officer and Magistrate Ramiz AlamTwo live (buck) birds and two slaughtered (buck) birds along with bird hunting equipment were found from the house of Abul Hossain.
According to Mobile Court Act-2009 and Wildlife (Preservation) Act-2012, Abul Hossain through mobile court. K was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and a fine of one thousand rupees.
Later, the two bucks were rescued alive with the help of Upazila Forest Department and Animal Resources Department.
