The election of the 2025 executive committee of Bauphal Press Club of Patuakhali has been held.
The election was held at the Bir Uttam Shamsul Alam Talukder auditorium at Bauphal Press Club on Monday at around 9 am.
In this, Md. Jalilur Rahman (Amar Desh) was elected as the president, Md. Jasim Uddin (Manabkantha) was elected as the General Secretary, and Md. Moniruzzaman Hiron (Sakalar Somo) was elected as the joint general secretary. 10 people were elected unopposed. They are: Co-President Md. Delwar Hossain (Daily News), Treasurer Md. Faruk Hossain (Ganadabi), Office Secretary Piyal Hasan (Voice of Time), Nurul Islam Siddique Masum (Inquilab), Uttam Kumar (Bijoy TV), UMU: Manjur Morshed (New Nation), Executive Md. Kamruzzaman Bachchu (Janakanth), ABM Mizanur Rahman (Prothom Alo), Abu Sufian (Sangram) Kamrul Hasan (Jayjay Din). A total of 44 members voted in the press club election.
Bauphal Press Club Chief Election Commissioner and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting) Pratik Kumar Kundu announced the election results.
