The 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day were celebrated in Shibganj Bogura with the slogan "Bangabandhu's dream, bring laughter to everyone's house".

On the occasion of the day, organized by the upazila administration on Sunday, after paying tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu in the upazila parishad square, a colorful rally circled the main main road of the upazila. Later, a discussion meeting, cultural program and prize distribution were held in Shaheed Hafizar Rahman Auditorium under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tahmina Akhter.

Upazila Chairman Firoz Ahmed Riju, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Tasnimuzzaman, Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Mostafizar Rahman Mosta, General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Touhidur Rahman Manik, Thana Officer Incharge Abdur Rauf, Upazila Engineer Sumon Mahmud, Project Implementation Officer Zahirul Islam, Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Bari, Abdur Razzak Belal and others spoke in the meeting.

On the other hand, a discussion meeting was held at Trinamool Barta Bhaban after paying tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait at Bangabandhu Square organized by Upazila Awami League. General Secretary of Upazila Awami League and Mayor Touhidur Rahman Manik addressed the discussion meeting held under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League President Mostafizar Rahman Mosta.

Awami League leader Shahjahan Chowdhury, Belal Hossain, Shahidul Islam Shahid, Shahab Uddin Shibli, Sohel Akhtar Mithu, Sohel Rana Mintu, Alhaj Aminul Haque Dudu, Union Awami League President and General Secretary spoke at this time.
