Best Sub Assistant Agriculture Officer (SAAO) award for the financial year 2021-22 and digital ID cards were given to the all officers and employees of Upazila Agricultural Office in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district on Monday.

On this occasion, the upazila agriculture officer's office organized an 'Agriculture Development Progress Awards' program at the Farmer Training Center.

Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Agriculturist Abdul Wadud presided over the program, where Additional Director (AD) of the Mymensingh region Agriculturist Md Ashraf Uddin was present as the chief guest and Agriculturist Dr Sukalpa Das deputy director (DD) of Sherpur DAE was present as special guests.

District Training Officer Agriculturist Sultan Ahmed, Additional Deputy Director Agriculturist Humayun Kabir, Agriculturist Md Emdadul Haque and Agriculturist Md Masudur Rahman; Sherpur Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Agriculturist Rukeya Yasmin, Shrivardi Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Agriculturist Sabrina Akhter, Jhenaigati Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Agriculturist Humayun Dildar, Nalitabari Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) Agriculturist Anwar Hossain and all Agriculture Extension Officers of the district present as an invited guest.

On the day Block Planning Workshop-2023 was held under the leadership of Additional Director (AD) of the Mymensingh region Agriculturist Md Ashraf Uddin.

Later, the award ceremony for the best Sub Assistant Agriculture Officer (SAAO), the best office staff of the financial year 2021-22 working in Nakla Upazila and digital ID card distribution program started. Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) Agriculturist Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni conducted the program.

At that time, AEO Agriculturist Md Shahin Rana, Sub Assistant Agriculture Officer (SAAO) working in different blocks of the upazila and all the officials working in the Upazila Agriculture Office were present.

1st award winner SAAO Md Ashraful Alam, 2nd prize winner Atiqur Rahman, 3rd prize winner SM Monir Hasan, 4th prize winner Md Humayun Kabir, 5th prize winner Mohammad Aliullah. As senior Sub Assistant Agriculture Officer (SAAO) Moshiur Rahman, M.A Samad as Emerging Sub Assistant Agriculture Officer and Mohammad Abdur Rashid as Best Office Staff won the award of the 2021-22 financial years. Apart from this, all the guests were given greetings by the Upazila Agriculture Officer's office.

At the end of the program, digital ID cards were handed over to all the officers and employees working in Nakla Upazila Agriculture Office.
