Dhaka University admission test application for the undergraduate class of 2023-24 academic year is starting on Monday .

Students can apply from 12 noon. The application process will continue till January 5, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Admission test admit card can be downloaded from February 8.

This year's admission examination will begin on February 23, 2024 through the examination of the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences. The admission test will be held on February 24 for business education unit, March 1 for science unit and March 9 for fine arts unit.

Moreover, all the rules of the admission test ie application eligibility, section change, question paper and number division will remain unchanged as before, the university authorities said.

As per previous rule, admission test will be conducted in written and MCQ mode in Dhaka University. MCQ exam of 60 marks and written exam of 40 marks will be conducted in science, arts, law and social science and business education units. Time duration for both the exams will be 45 minutes.

MCQ examination of 40 (General Knowledge) marks and written examination of 60 (Drawing) marks will be held in fine arts unit. Time for Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) will be 30 minutes and time for written will be 60 minutes.

Like last year, the admission test will be held in seven divisional cities including Dhaka.

Eligibility of applicants :

The minimum qualification of the applicants who want to take admission is that they must have passed the secondary or equivalent examination from 2018 to 2021 and higher secondary or equivalent examination from 2023. In Examination (including 4th subject) GPA of Secondary and Higher Secondary must be minimum 8 and GPA 3.50 separately for Science Unit, GPA minimum 7.50 for Arts, Law and Social Science Unit and 3 separately, GPA for Business Unit A minimum of 7.50 plus 3 separately and the sum of the two GPAs for the Fine Arts unit must be a minimum of 6.50 plus 3 separately.
