7 cocktails blast on DU campus in span of one hour

Seven cocktails have exploded in three phases on Dhaka University campus in a span of an hour. Panic has been seen among the people in the area despite no causalities have been reported.
The incident occurred between 7:00 and 8:00 pm in Chankhar Pool, Curzon Hall and Sir A F Rahman Hall areas.
The university authorities, law enforcement and intelligence agencies confirmed the matter.
Sources said some unidentified people hurled four cocktails one after another on the street in front of Sir A F Rahman Hall. Among them, three cocktails exploded.
Three other cocktails exploded in the other two areas respectively.
On information, a team from Shahbag Police Station rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Professor Maksudur Rahman, proctor of the university, said, "We identified several miscreants in the incident occurred inside the campus. Police arrested some of them."
