5 DU students get Dr. Mohammed Shahidullah FamilyTrust Fund Scholarship

Five meritorious students of different departments of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded ‘Dr. Mohammed Shahidullah Family Trust Fund Scholarship’ for their outstanding academic performances.
Treasurer of DU Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed distributed scholarships among the students as the chief guest at a function today March 20, 2024 at VC’s Lounge of the university.
Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Md. Abdus Samad, Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker and Chairpersons of different departments were present on this occasion.
The recipients of the scholarship are Md. Halim Badsha (Mathematics), Md. Mehedi Hasan (Mathematics), Hridita Bhowmick Arna (Statistics), Md. Asib Hossain (Applied Mathematics) and Shams Tanal Toha (Applied Statistics and Data Science).
It may be mentioned that former DU student Dr. Mohammed Shahidullah who is now living in the USA established this trust fund in 2023 for providing support to financially challenged students.
