4 traders fined in Feni

In Koraish Munsi Bazaar of Daganbhuiyan, four traders were fined , under Sections 37 and 53 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, a total of Tk 25,000 for not displaying the price list, not having expiry date printed on the product packaging and preparing food in unsanitary conditions on Tuesday.
The operation was conducted by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Daganbhuan S.M. Azharul Islam and other concerned officials. Earlier on Monday, the upazila's bake market was accused of using banned polythene and warehousing. The operation was conducted under Section 6(a) of the Environment Protection Act, 1995.
