3 drug dealers arrested with phensidyl, ganja in Sirajganj

Detective Branch (DB) of Sirajganj District Police conducted a drug recovery operation and recovered 2000 bottles of pensidil and Md. A. Latif Sheikh (39) from Abdullah alias A. Alim ( 51) and arrested Md Azizul Akhand three drug dealers with 20 kg of ganja from Md. Azizul Akand (45).
The matter was confirmed to the media by the officer in charge of District Intelligence Branch Md. Zulhaj Uddin, BPM (Bar), PPM.
They were arrested at 6:20 am on Saturday while on duty during a drug bust. The arrested accused are Abdullah alias A. Alim a.k.a. Jamai (39) son of deceased Ahmed Chafa/Moshah Manjura Begum couple of Naldia (Kari Ahmad Ullar Bari) village of Anwara police station of Chittagong district, Md. A. Latif Sheikh (51) deceased Mazem Ali of Karnasriti village of Kamarkhand upazila of Sirajganj district. Son of Shaikh/mosha Saher Banu couple and Md Azizul Akand (45) son of Md Azahar Ali Akand/mosha Akalima Khatun couple of same village.
3 drug cases against the arrested accused Abdullah alias Aalim alias Jamai (39) and 3 drug cases against the accused Md A Latif Sheikh (51) are pending in the court.The detained accused will be sent to the court after taking legal action.
