3-day debate competition ends, awards distributed in Rupsha

The closing ceremony of the 3-day debate and essay competition on corruption prevention was held at the Upazila Officers Club Auditorium on Wedenesday at 10 am to motivate students to practice honesty.
Organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission Integrated District Office, Khulna, Rupsha U.N.O Sanjida Rikata spoke as the chief guest at the meeting. Deputy Assistant Director of Khulna District Anti-Corruption Integrated Office Md. Rubel Hossain, Rupsha Thana O.C Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer S. A. Anwar-ul-Quddus spoke as special guests.
The event, which was organized by the Rupsha Upazila Administration, Secondary Education Office and Corruption Prevention Committee, was presided over by Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President Sheikh Md. Khairul Alam Lavlu.
Under the direction of Academic Supervisor of Upazila Secondary Education Office Nityananda Mondal and General Secretary of Rupsha Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Md. Farid Sheikh, Islamic Foundation Upazila Field Supervisor Ershadul Gani, President of Rupsha Press Club Tariqul Islam Dalim, Lecturer Md. Sihab Uddin Sheikh, Vice-President of Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Obaid Farazi,
Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, Vice-President Obaid Farazi, were present at the time, among others.
Teachers Shamsur Rahman, Nripendranath Roy, Seema Bardhan, Milton Biswas, Biplob Sardar, A. Salam, Abdullah Al Mamun, Dr. Shafiqul Islam, Journalists Nahid Zaman, Md. Akhtar Khan, Chitta Ranjan Sen, Azizul Islam, Anwar Hossain, students Disha Majumder, Sneha, Md. Faisal, Soumjit Biswas were present.
In the 16-team debate competition, Naihati Secondary Girls' School won first place and Belfulia Islamia High School won second place. In the essay competition, Soumyajit Biswas of Pithabhog DGC Secondary School won first place, Tahera Jerin Moon of Comrade Ratan Sen Secondary School won second place, and Sneha of Shiali Secondary School won third place.
