14 gamblers arrested by Jaldhaka Police led by new OC

Led by new OC of Jaldhaka police station, Arju Md. Sajjad Hossain, police conducted a special operation in the area on Friday and arrested 14 gamblers and sent them to the court.
14 accused including accused Hasanur Rahman (36), Chandra Roy (42) were gambling inside the abandoned club house called Anbesha, adjacent to Mathabhanga fish market under Jaldhaka municipality.
They have been sent to court in case No-09 of Jaldhaka Police Station under Section-4 of Open Gambling Act of 1867.
It should be noted that after the arrival of this new OC in Jaldhaka police station, he has started conducting operations against drugs and gambling.
