14 arrested in Bhola in Operation 'Devil Hunt' operation

Coast Guard has arrested 14 people in Bhola in an overnight operation of Operation ''Devil Hunt''
Lieutenant Commander Md. Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Monday afternoon.
In order to maintain the current situation across the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued instructions to conduct joint forces' operation "Devil Hunt". In continuation of this, a special operation was conducted in Sadar Upazila of Bhola by BCG Base Bhola under the South Zone of Bangladesh Coast Guard from 11 pm on Sunday, February 9 to 7 am today, Monday, February 10, 2025, based on secret information.
A total of 14 Awami League leaders and activists, Md. Rafiqul Islam (41), Md. Sujan Matbar (32), Ferdous Ahmed (45), Ruhul Amin Molla (50), Ismail Molla (30), T. M. Sirajul Alam (48), Abbas Qari (29), Md. Farid Dalal (50), Jamal Uddin (55), Md. Shamsuddin Palawan (50), Md. Farid Shani (52), Md. Mofizul Islam, (75) Md. Manik Member (55), Abdur Rouf (67), were arrested from the area in the operation.
The arrested persons were later handed over to Bhola Sadar Police Station for legal action.
