Bitter gourd cultivation on 10 katha land using new method in Porsha

Farmer Jewel Babu of Barannail Marakata village in Tentulia union of Porsha upazila of Naogaon has made a name for himself in the area by cultivating bitter gourd in a new method. This time, he has cultivated this vegetable in 10 katha land in the hope of good yield at low cost.
According to local sources, Jewel Babu had previously successfully cultivated bitter gourd in a small amount of land experimentally. Based on that experience, this season he is cultivating bitter gourd in a new modern method on 10 katha land. This cost him about 18 thousand taka.
Currently, bitter gourd has just started to be harvested in the fields. Seeing the freshness of the tree and the beautiful flowers and fruits, he is expecting good profits this season.
Farmer Jewel Babu said, "Earlier, I cultivated on a small land and got good yields. This time, I cultivated on 10 kathas of land following the new method. The cost was around 18 thousand taka.
