Navanna festival has been celebrated in Rabindra University.

The festival was organized at Rabindra University's Gitanjali Studio Theater organized by the university's Music Department at 7 pm on Sunday.

Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University Professor Dr. Md. Shah Azam was present as Chief Guest.

He said, Rabindra University's cultural performance has already drawn people's attention, Rabindra University's dedication to Bengali culture is touching people's hearts, that is our big achievement.

The Vice-Chancellor also said that 'Navanna' is reflected in all parts of Bengali culture.Navanna is widely reflected in Bengali literature as well.Palli Kabi Jasimuddin and Jibanananda Das have left Navanna forever in disrepute.He said, as long as there are Bengalis, there will be Bengali culture, the joy of 'Navanna' will remain with us.

He further said, we find new varieties in all seasons.Every season we have to make resolutions.New people dream a lot-they dream of building a new world.You have to dream that too.

The VC also said that the defeated forces of the 1970s are trying to disrupt the unstoppable progress of Bangladesh, which was initiated by Bangabandhu's national treasure, Sheikh Hasina.Even in independent Bangladesh, we have seen the pro-independence forces suffer in many ways.The opponents of the liberation war have conspired in various ways.There is also a foreign conspiracy with it.

We would like to take a vow from Rabindra University's Navanna festival-we will definitely defeat all the conspiracies against Bangladesh's liberation war to build Bangabandhu's hunger- and poverty-free golden Bangladesh, just as Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman defeated all the conspirators in 1971.

Students of Music Department of Rabindra University performed dance and songs in Navanna festival.Rabindra University Teachers Association President Dr. Md. Fakhrul Islam, teachers of music department along with teachers and students of other departments were present.
