Whip of the National Parliament and MP for Natore-2 Constituency, Advocate Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, has said, those who attempted to annihilate the BNP have themselves been wiped out today.

Speaking at the party's 48th founding anniversary rally in Natore on Tuesday morning, he noted that domestic and international conspirators thought that by assassinating BNP founder martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the party would be destroyed. Instead of being eradicated, the BNP has only grown more organized.

The Whip recalled that Ziaur Rahman gave birth to the BNP 48 years ago with the objective of protecting Bangladesh's independence, sovereignty, and democracy. On the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary, he called upon everyone to remain united under the leadership of Tarique Rahman to safeguard the country's freedom, sovereignty, and democracy.

Around 10:00 AM on Tuesday, party leaders and activists brought out a colorful rally from the Alalpur Upashahar field in Natore town. The procession paraded through the main roads of the town and culminated in a rally in front of the Press Club in the Kanakhal area.

The rally was also addressed by District BNP Convener Rahim Newaz, District BNP Member Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad, Joint Conveners Mostafizur Rahman Shaheen, Saiful Islam Aftab, Zillur Rahman Babul Chowdhury, District BNP Member Sabina Yasmin Chobi, and other leaders from various associated organizations of the BNP.

Prior to the rally, national and party flags were hoisted in front of the party's temporary office in Alalpur, followed by the laying of floral wreaths at the portrait of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Afterward, the Whip planted trees on the road's divider.
