A 2-day Eco-Village Design and Permaculture Education Training Workshop-2024 was held at Bagerhat's Morelganj on Monday morning.

Organized by the NGO World Vision Bangladesh Morelganj AP branch, the training was inaugurated at Khalek Sheikh's house in Kathaltala area of Sadar Union of the upazila under the chairmanship of World Vision Bangladesh AP Manager Tapan Kumar Mandal.

The organization organized this training workshop with 25 eco-village members from 6 villages of the upazila with the aim of establishing a beautiful nature and environment-friendly picture-like village with pollution-free farming. In this 2-day training workshop, the use of organic culture, use of sanitary toilets, cultivation of vegetables in the courtyard of every family's house, rearing of cattle and birds, confirmation of birth registration of everyone, use of vermicompost liquid and other bio-fertilizers in every family and poison-free and chemical-free fruits are discussed in this training workshopCelebrating the progress of Smart Eco Villages by encouraging vegetable cultivation was widely discussedMohd Humayun Kabir discussed these as Field Technical Specialist Integrated Loveliness Facilitator.

Training facilitators were Morelganj AP Branch Program Officer Milita Sarkar, (B,D,C) Jannatun Nesa Popi, journalist Nazmul Talukder and others. The training focuses on using natural resources, doing no harm to nature, cultivating crops by practicing nature or permaculture design.
