State Minister Barrister Mir Heal : Govt will rehabilitate flood victims, micro-loan installments suspended for one month

All necessary initiatives are being taken to rehabilitate the families affected by the devastating floods in Bandarban, said Barrister Mir Helal, MP, State Minister for the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.and Ministry of Land.
He said that a list of affected families will be prepared and rehabilitated in phases by the government. In addition, arrangements have been made to suspend the installments of microloans taken from various banks and NGOs in the flood-affected areas for one month. In addition, free vaccination and medical services will be provided by the government for domestic animals in the affected areas.
He made these remarks at a relief distribution ceremony as the chief guest at the Bandarban Zilla Parishad Rest House premises on Friday afternoon.
Later, he visited various areas of the district town and remote flood-affected areas of Rowangchhari Upazila and distributed relief materials among the affected people.
He further said that the government's goal is not only to distribute relief but also to quickly restore the normal life of the affected people.
At that time, local MP Saching Pru Jerry, MP for reserved women's seat Madhavi Marma, Deputy Commissioner Md. Saniul Ferdous, Superintendent of Police Md. Ohabul Islam Khandaker, along with officials from various government and private departments, public representatives and political leaders were present.
