One deer hunter arrested with 110- kg vension from Sundarbans by Coast Guard

The Coast Guard West Zone has arrested 1 deer hunter with 110 kg of deer meat from Sundarbans.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq gave this information on Tuesday.
Based on a secret tip-off, the Coast Guard Outpost Nalian conducted a special operation in the area adjacent to Nalian Thakurbari Ghat adjacent to Sundarbans on Tuesday morning. . At that time, Md. Shahjahan, Md. Anu, one of the associates of the notorious robber Karim Sharif of Sundarbans, and an unknown person, sensing the presence of the Coast Guard members, fled leaving behind 2 boats with deer meat.
Later, the two boats were searched and 110 kg of deer meat was recovered and a deer hunter named Md. Ariful Sardar was arrested.
The arrested deer hunter, Md. Ariful Sardar, is a resident of Dakop police station in Khulna.
The seized deer meat and the arrested person were handed over to the Nalian Forest Office for further legal action.
The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future, the official said.
