A preparatory meeting has been held in Bauphal, Patuakhali on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of the BNP.

The meeting was held at the Bauphal Upazila BNP office (adjacent to the public field) on Tuesday (August 25) at around 5 pm with the aim of successfully implementing the program for the founding anniversary on September 1.

In the preparatory meeting, the leaders of the upazila and municipal BNP expressed their determination to forget the long-standing party differences and carry out organizational activities in unity. In the meeting, it was decided to celebrate the founding anniversary of BNP together and unitedly on September 1. At the same time, the leaders agreed to celebrate any BNP party program or event in Baufla in the future not separately, but unitedly.
The meeting, chaired by Upazila BNP convener Taslim Talukder, was addressed by Upazila BNP joint convener Gani Sikder, member secretary Apel Mahmud Firoz, municipal BNP president Humayun Kabir, vice president Shahjahan Howlader, general secretary Mizanur Rahman Khokon and leaders at various levels of upazila and municipal BNP.

Speakers at the meeting said that party unity and organizational strength will further strengthen BNP. Therefore, leaders and activists must forget all kinds of differences and divisions and work unitedly for the greater interest of the party. Party leaders and activists were called upon to actively and peacefully participate in the founding anniversary program.

At this time, various preparations, organizational issues and overall management of the program were discussed to make the founding anniversary program a success. Leaders and activists of various levels of upazila and municipal BNP and its organs and associate organizations were present at the meeting.
