An Iftar and Doa  Mahfil was held in Satkhira to commemorate martyrs on Independence Day. The Iftar mahfil and prayers were organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Satkhira District Branch on Tuesday  at the New Market Square.

The speakers at the Iftar mahfil said that the main reason for unrest in the world is dishonest leadership. There is unrest all over the world today due to the lack of a system of governance by honest people in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. There is no peace in the entire society due to the leadership of dishonest people. The Quran is our address of peace. After believing, it is obligatory to establish the laws of the Quran.

The speakers said that barbaric torture is being carried out on the people of Palestine today. Palestinian women, children and the elderly are victims of brutal torture. Genocide is going on in Palestine. This genocide is being carried out by Israel, the enemy of world humanity.

The speakers also said that 54 long years have passed since independence, power has changed hands many times, the goals and objectives with which we liberated the country have not been fulfilled today. There is no room for analysis as to why they have not been fulfilled.

The speakers said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been agitating for the establishment of the law of the Quran and the rule of honest people. The goal of Jamaat-e-Islami is to establish peace in society and establish a developed, prosperous, happy and peaceful Bangladesh. For this, the speakers called on everyone to work unitedly. The speakers also called on everyone to be vigilant against all conspiracies so that the people of Bangladesh can enjoy the benefits of great independence.

The Satkhira New Market square was filled to the brim with the presence of top political leaders of the district, representatives of various organizations, professionals, educationists, poets and writers, doctors, journalists, researchers, businessmen and people from different levels of society at the Iftar Mahfil.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Iftar Mahfil held at Satkhira Newmark on Tuesday, March 25 at 5 pm.

Satkhira City Jamaat Ameer Zahidul Satkhira District Jamaat Ameer Vice President Shahidul Islam Mukul spoke as the special guest at the Iftar Mahfil held under the chairmanship of Islam and conducted by Secretary Khorshed Alam.

On the occasion of the  Day, the District Jamaat Nayeb-e-Amir Sheikh Nurul Huda, Office Secretary Maulana Ruhul Amin, Assistant Secretary Lecturer Obaidullah, Omar Faruk, Former Chairman Shahid Hasan, City Jamaat Nayeb-e-Amir Fakhrul Hasan Lavlu, Maulana Mustafizur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Master Badiuzzaman, Advocate Abu Taleb, Amirul Islam and others spoke at the prayer and iftar mahfil in memory of the martyrs.
