Hathazari Upazila Health Complex in Chattogram has been providing medicare services with dedication to all men, women and children.

In the world of advanced treatment, this upazila has now developed as a model hospital. There is a group of doctors in outdoor indoor medical service every day. Hospital wards have round the clock medical care. Doctors are giving treatment outside the wards on the floor. The wards have a full-time doctor in addition to monitoring doctors.

Although there are few doctors and staff in the hospital, this hospital is not lagging behind in medical services.Patients are coming to receive treatment from neighboring upazila Fatikchari and Raujan.

People standing in outdoor long lines are being served by doctors, nurses, midwives and all the hospital workers. If there is any problem of the people who come for treatment, the doctors are solving it quickly.

Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Rashmi Chakma and Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Sohania Akhter Billah are supervising the overall service centers.

While visiting the hospital , Salma Begum (44), who came for treatment from the neighboring Fatikchari upazila, said, "Our whole family comes here for treatment as the medical service is good.

Upazila Health officials told this correspondent , "Every day many patients are coming to the hospital for treatment, we are providing medical services as much as we can."

Patients are coming from the neighboring upazilas for treatment due to which the pressure of the patients is a little high, but the doctors are providing medical services 24/7 through hotline.
