State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has said, true development in education is impossible through government initiatives alone; it requires the combined participation of teachers, parents, local administration, and people from all strata of society.

To boost public trust in government primary schools and transform them into effective social institutions, initiatives will be taken to introduce a "Parent Circle" and a "Friend Register" in every school.

The State Minister made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at an orientation session on the activities of the "School Feeding Program in Government Primary Schools" and an exchange meeting on improving primary education quality, organized by the School Feeding Project at the Sunamganj PTI on Monday.

He stated that teachers of every grade must form a "Parent Circle" comprising the parents of their respective students.

He further noted that the head teacher of each school must create a "Friend Register" featuring local dignitaries, retired teachers and government officials, representatives of mosque and market committees, philanthropic individuals, and other prominent citizens.

The State Minister added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the government is working to build a modern, humane, and values-driven primary education system for every child in the country.

Presided over by the Deputy Commissioner of Sunamganj, the event was attended by the Member of Parliament for Sunamganj-4, the Additional Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education, the Superintendent of Police for Sunamganj, the Project Director of the School Feeding Project, all administrative officials related to primary education in Sunamganj district, and teachers of government primary schools across the district.
