DU VC visits sick Emeritus Prof Syed Manjurul Islam in hospital

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the ailing Professor Emeritus of the Department of English, Dr. Syed Manjurul Islam, at the LabAid Hospital in the capital on Monday.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the ailing Professor Emeritus of the Department of English, Dr. Syed Manjurul Islam, at the LabAid Hospital in the capital on Monday.
He inquired about the ailing professor's physical condition and treatment. The Vice-Chancellor wished him a speedy recovery.
Dhaka University's Proctor's routine duties include Assistant Proctor Associate Professor Muhammad Mahbub Kaiser, Assistant Proctor Dr. Shantu Barua, Acting Chief Medical Officer of the university Dr. Mohammad Tanvir Ali, and doctors on duty at LabAid Hospital.
It is mentioned that Professor Dr. Syed Manjurul Islam suddenly fell ill last Friday. He was later admitted to LabAid Hospital. He is currently on life support there.
