Accused of attempting to rape disabled person in Narail arrested

Lohagara police arrested a van driver named Jasim Molya (28) for attempting to rape a (13)-year-old disabled person in Lohagara Upazila of Narail.
The police arrested him from Banka village of Lakshmipasha union of Lohagara Upazila on Friday afternoon. OC of Lohagara Police Station Md. Ashiqur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The arrested Jasim Molya is the son of Babul Molya of Pachuriya village of Mallikpur union of Lohagara Upazila of Narail district
According to local police sources, on Friday afternoon, a van driver named Jasim tried to rape a disabled girl (13) at home in Banka village of Lakshipasha union in Lohagara upazila. Jasim took the girl to the cowshed of her house. Later, the girl's mother came from a neighboring house and heard screams and saw Jasim making friends with her daughter inside the cowshed. Later, her mother called everyone.
Local people came and detained the van driver Jasim and informed the Lohagara police station. The Lohagara police station's SI Md. Tarek and his accompanying force arrested him.
