DU Correspondent 

Some 18 researchers were awarded PhD degrees, 14 received MPhil degrees, and 3 were conferred DBA degrees from the University of Dhaka recently. 

 These degrees were approved at a syndicate meeting held on April 24, 2025, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan.

Abdul Aziz – Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology,  Md. Riyaduzzaman – Department of Law, Ahmad Ullah – Department of Philosophy,  Sanjida Chowdhury and Mohammad Ismail Bhuiyan – Department of Population Sciences,  Ifrat Jahan – Department of Psychology, Atanu Das – Department of Anthropology, Bashir Ahmed – Department of Zoology and  Karishma Amzad – Institute of Social Welfare and Research
