The maximum number of Special Response Battalion (SRB) personnel has been deployed to ensure security during the Sharadiya Durga Puja festival, and dedicated cyber monitoring teams are leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to prevent the spread of rumors on social media.

He warned that individuals attempting to incite instability or spread misleading information online would be identified and swiftly brought to justice under existing laws.
The Additional DIG noted that comprehensive measures have been put in place to prevent sexual harassment, install CCTV cameras at key venues, and deploy drone surveillance over major mandaps. He added that alongside law enforcement agencies, Hindu volunteer teams are working continuously in coordination to maintain a festive and secure atmosphere
To ensure the peaceful completion of the festival through the immersion of idols on October 21, the SRB has mobilized intelligence units, patrol teams, mobile courts, and emergency response teams across the district.
Following the briefing, Additional DIG Asaduzzaman visited several other puja mandaps across Faridpur to review overall security arrangements.
