We dream of a just Bangladesh Masud Sayeedi

Bangladesh Jamaat Alliance nominated parliamentary candidate Alhaj Masud Sayedee said, "After 17 years, we have got a new Bangladesh. We are dreaming of a changed Bangladesh. We are dreaming of a Bangladesh of justice. That dream can be fulfilled through our well-thought-out decision on February 12th."
Masud Sayedee, the Jamaat-e-Islami-led alliance's nominated parliamentary candidate, made these remarks as the chief guest at the Jamaat-e-Islami election rally at the Mini Stadium in Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur on Monday afternoon.
Sayeedi's son said, "The goal and purpose with which Bangladesh became independent, to stand tall in the world, has not been realized in the 54 years of independence. Our dreams have not been fulfilled. Elections have come again and again. Each time, the people have voted for different parties with different hopes, but the people have not got the country they desired."
Masud Sayedee said, "The people were not valued, rather we have seen that the parties or those who came to power in the last 54 years have only improved their own lives and pockets. Rather, we have seen that the fate of the country and the people has not improved, and they have not worked to fulfill the desired dreams of the people. Some parties have been in power for five, ten, 15 years and have told us stories of development. That dream was just talk, nothing has happened in reality."
At this time, Sayeedi's son went to the polling station to vote and promised to complete his father's unfinished work, saying, "Just as my father took the development work to the people's homes in the form of books, I will do the same if Allah accepts me as your servant."
The leaders of the 11-party alliance spoke under the chairmanship of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Abdur Razzak and moderated by Upazila Secretary Kazi Mosleh Uddin.
