A protest march has been held in Meherpur demanding implementation of referendum verdict. The procession started from the premises of the District Model Mosque on Sunday afternoon led by District Jamaat Secretary Iqbal Hussain.
Later, the procession circled the main roads of the city and visited various important areas and ended at Shamsujoha Park. The speakers said that the verdict given by the people through the referendum must be implemented quickly. If the people's opinions are ignored, democracy will be damaged. If the demands are not given importance, more stringent programs will be given in the future. At this time, they urged everyone to remain united in the movement.
