A prize distribution ceremony was held on Tuesday morning at the Upazila Parishad hall room in Bheramara at the initiative of the Upazila and District Secondary Education Offices to honor the best students of the academic year 2022–2023.
Organized under the Performance-Based Grants for Secondary Institutions Scheme of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, the event was presided over by Secondary Education Officer Faruk Ahmed. The chief guest was Bheramara UNO Rafiqul Islam.
During the ceremony, a total of 37 top meritorious students were selected and awarded with crests and certificates. Among them, 10 students from SSC, 10 from HSC, 10 from the Madrasa stream, and the rest from vocational institutions received honors.
The event was attended by heads of educational institutions, parents, award-winning students, and media personnel. The ceremony was conducted by the headteacher of Haji Wazed Ali Secondary School.
