Deputy Commissioner Sifat Mehnaz exchanged views with upazila-level officials and residents in Phulbari, Kurigram on Thursday noon.
Deputy Commissioner Sifat Mehnaz spoke as the chief guest at the view-sharing meeting held at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Rehenuma Tarannum. Other speakers at the meeting included Phulbari Police Station OC Shawkat Ali Sarkar, Upazila Agriculture Officer Nilufa Yasmin, Fisheries Officer Hafizur Rahman, former Upazila Freedom Fighter Commander Mujibur Rahman, former General Secretary of Upazila BNP Abdul Mannan Mukul, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Maulana Abdul Malek, Islami Andolon Bangladesh, Phulbari Upazila Branch President Maulana Habibur Rahman, Upazila NCP Convener Nazmul Ferdous Lavlu, Press Club Phulbari President Oliur Rahman Nayan, July Fighter Anwarul Haque Rana, and others.
At the meeting, the speakers highlighted various problems in Phulbari Upazila and various aspects that need to be done for the overall development of the Upazila.
