Peace march to welcome Hamas -Israel's ceasefire agreement in Kalapara

A peace march was held in Kalapara, Patuakhali, welcoming the historic agreement between Hamas and Israel to implement the first phase of the ceasefire after 11 months of bloody conflict and countless casualties.
The procession was organized by the Towhidi Janata at 2:30 pm on Friday from the premises of the Kalapara Central Jama Masjid.
The procession circled the main roads of the city and met at the same place for a rally. Mufti Saidur Rahman, the Pesh Imam of Kalapara Central Jame Mosque, Maulana Ferdous, the Imam of Fisari Mosque, local Towhidi Janata Mahbubul Alam Naim, Soebur Rahman Soeib and Nazrul Islam, and many others spoke during the rally.
During this time, speakers demanded a permanent ceasefire, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the declaration of an independent Palestinian state as soon as possible.
