Mosque construction mosque at DC Eco Park in Kashiani begins

The construction work of a new mosque at the DC Eco Park in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj has officially begun with a special prayer and munajat.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Thursday afternoon (Oct 9) inside the DC Eco Park premises, marking the start of building a visually appealing mosque for the visitors and local worshippers.
Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate as well as Administrator of the District Council, Muhammad Kamruzzaman (Joint Secretary), inaugurated the construction work.
The project, implemented by the Gopalganj District Council, is estimated to cost Tk 2 million (20,00,000/-).
Among others present at the event were Amit Debnath, Chief Executive Officer of Gopalganj District Council; S.M. Tarek Sultan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue); Md. Ehsanul Haque, Executive Engineer of LGED, Gopalganj; Palash Kumar Debnath, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Kashiani; Sajal Dutta, Upazila Engineer; and A.T.M. Sadikur Rahman, Sub-Assistant Engineer of Gopalganj District Council, along with local officials, public representatives, dignitaries, and local residents.
Following the inauguration, a special prayer was offered seeking the successful completion of the mosque construction and the well-being of the community.
Once completed, the mosque is expected to provide a convenient place for prayers for visitors and worshippers at the DC Eco Park.
