Bank officer injured by miscreants attack in Sylhet

A bank official was injured in an attack by some miscreants due to previous enmity in Sylhet city's Pathantula. Injured bank officer Abul Kalam Azad in charge of NRB Bank Shah Edgah Sub Branch (Manager).
According to local sources, a group of 10-12 people attacked Abul Kalam Azad's house in West Pathantula with local weapons yesterday at 7:40 pm. Abul Kalam Azad was eriously injured in the head, teeth and chest in various parts of the body in the organized attack of miscreants. Meanwhile, the locals came forward and sent the injured Azad to Osmani Hospital.
He is currently fighting for his life while undergoing treatment at the emergency department of Osmani Metikal. As of writing this report, preparations are underway to file a case at the local police station.
