60 women get certificates in sewing and cutting training in Moheshkhali

With the cooperation of Shongshoptok and the implementation of the Department of Youth Development, certificates have been distributed after training 60 women in sewing and cutting in two separate batches for the purpose of creating self-employment for women.
The certificate distribution ceremony for the trainees was completed in the hall room of Matarbari Majidia Sunnia Alim Madrasa, presided over by Nur Mohammad, President of the Safety Platform, and conducted by General Secretary Maulana Mohsin.
In the chief guest's speech, Moheshkhali Sub-district Assistant Youth Development Officer Md. Shakil Ahmed said, we have provided sewing training to the unemployed women of Matarbari through Shongshoptok and distributed certificates. Easy loan facilities will be ensured for these certificate-holding women.
Shongshoptok's Program Manager M. A. Hannan said, we have already distributed sewing machines to some women and have provided training to 60 new ones, giving them certificates.
They will be able to engage in this profession hands-on and become self-reliant.
Speeches were given by Moheshkhali Online Press Club President Hobib Mahmud Sojib, UP member Sarwar Kamal, Joint General Secretary of the Public Safety Platform Abu Bakkar Siddiq, and Rokiyat Ullah. Present were Humaira Begum, Abchara Khanam Beauty, Imran Nazir, Sadat, Hadis, and Abul Kalam.
