Between the students of Barishal University and Brajmohan College, there have been incidents of clashes and chases.

About 50 people from both sides were injured in this incident. The injured have been admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical Hospital (Shebachim).

The incident took place at Brajmohan College campus around 2 pm on Tuesday.

It is reported that Mustafizur Rahman Rafi, a former student of BM College, was injured in the incident on Monday (September 2). He claims to be the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement of BM College. Later, the students of BM College held hostage two students of Bobby on Tuesday (September 3) evening, alleging assault on Mostafizur. Later, students of BM College vandalized a bus named 'Agun Mukha' of Bobby in Battala area of Barisal city. Many of the ordinary students in the bus were injured and admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical Hospital (Shebachim).

After this attack and video of Bobby's injured students spread on social media, university students marched towards BM College in various vehicles including trucks and buses. At one point, the students of these two educational institutions clashed and chased each other in the BM College area. 50 students from both sides were injured. Those who are receiving medical care at Shebachim.

According to eyewitnesses, BM college students vandalized a bus of Bobby in this incident. Then Bobby students came to BM college area and vandalized three buses of the college. On Tuesday, the attack and chase started at around 11:30 pm and continued till 3 am.

Students of Barisal University complained that Mustafizur Rahman Rafi, a former student of BM College, threatened to occupy the house of Barisal University student Tasnuva Chowdhury Zoya's family on Monday night on Bastist Mission Road in the city and harassed two women. Later, when the Bobby students appeared on the spot, the two sides got into a scuffle at one point.

Then, on Tuesday night, BM college students beat up two of Bobby's classmates by accusing them of extortion. When this news spread, Bobby students boarded three buses and left the campus for Battala area of the city. A bus carrying students was attacked and vandalized on its way to Battala area. 25 Bobby students were injured. 15 of them have been sent to hospital.

Sajid, a student of Barisal University, said that some rowdy students of BM College vandalized our bus. I went to the college campus to talk about these issues. They attacked us on sight. Many of us were injured.

According to BM College students, their coordinator was beaten up. Students have become angry due to this protest. Scores of BM college students were injured in the attack on them. Three buses were vandalized by attacking with sticks. They suffer from insecurity.

Aman, a student of BM College, said that at midnight, four buses of Barisal University and a small truck full of students came and attacked our campus. He beat and injured him wherever he found. Many suffered head injuries, many were seriously injured. Also vandalized the campus with buses. The injured were rescued and sent to the hospital.

Meanwhile, when 6 students of Bobby were trapped in the BM college area in the early morning of Wednesday, the professor who is currently in charge of Bobby's administration rescued them with Musleka. Md. Mohsin Uddin.

Confirming the matter, Kotyali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mostafizur Rahman said that the Bobby students beat up BM College coordinator Mostafizur Rahman Rafi on Monday night. After this incident, BM college students beat up two Bobby students while staying in Battala area around 11 pm on Tuesday. Two injured Bobby students were rescued and admitted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College. When the news of the beating of the two Bobby students spread, there was an incident of attack and chase between the two groups. Army, police worked together to calm the situation in this incident.

Some youths have been accused of attempting to occupy a disputed house, impersonating the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. At this time, five people, including a woman, were injured in the clashes between the two sides. Barisal University (Bobby) student Tasnuva Chowdhury Zoya said that the incident took place during the attempt to occupy the house on Baptist Mission Road in the city at around 11 pm last Monday. Later, on Tuesday afternoon, Bobby and the students of Barisal Government Brajmohan (BM) College held a human chain program in front of their respective campuses.
