Gaibandha District BNP held a human chain programme in front of DB Road Asaduzzaman Market on Saturday demanding the cancellation of the expired committee.
Gaibandha Municipal BNP joint conveners and abandoned and oppressed grassroots leaders organized this human chain.
During the humanitarian program, former BNP General Secretary Kamrul Hasan Selim, former general secretary of the city BNP, spoke. Hanif Belal, Member Rafiqul Islam Lulu, Shafiqul Islam Rubel, Bazlul Karim Rapu, Khan Md. Kausar Waheed Sujan, Shafiqur Rahman Khoka, Hasanuzzaman Masum, Tariqul Islam, Touhidur Rahman Tuhin, Mostafizur Rahman, Dewan Manik, Zahurul Islam were present.
The speakers said that the term of the Gaibandha District BNP Committee has ended for a long time. Therefore, the committee, who has expired the last five years, canceled the abandoned activists of the grassroots and demanded that a new convening committee be organized
