3-yr -old child visiting grandfather's home killed by 'Nasimon' in Araihazar

A three-year-old child named Abrar was killed on the spot after being run over by an illegal 'Nasimon' (a locally made motorized vehicle) while visiting his grandfather's home in Araihazar, Narayanganj. Abrar was the son of Nazmul from Jangalia village in the Upazila's Uchitpura Union. The incident occurred at 5:00 PM on Wednesday in the Aparadi area of Haijadi Union.
It is reported that Abrar had come to visit his grandfather Rup Miah's house in Aparadi village with his mother, Nasrin. He was struck and killed instantly by a speeding Nasimon on the road near the house. Following the incident, the driver—Rubel, son of Shah Alam from the Kahindi-Ramnagar area of the same union—fled the scene immediately.
Locals stated that the police station has been informed about the incident.
However, to confirm whether the police were aware of the matter, a call was made to the official mobile phone of Araihazar Police Station OC Md. Sabjal Hossain, but he did not answer the call for unknown reasons.
