11- party hold rally, mass procession in Sundarganj

An 11-party alliance held a rally and mass procession in Sundarganj Upazila demanding the full implementation of the July Charter and justice for the genocide.
On August 5, after Asr, at the Gola Jame Mosque intersection outside Sundarganj Upazila, on the second anniversary of the July Uprising, a mass procession of 11 parties was held under the leadership of Jamaat Upazila Secretary Samiul Islam to implement the referendum verdict. Bangladesh Jamaat Islam's Sundarganj Upazila Amir Professor Shahidul Islam, former Mayor Nurun Nabi Pramanik, District Convener Shariful Islam, Sundarganj Upazila Islamic Chhatra Shibir President Shahin Mia, NCP leader Ariful Islam, Khelafat Majlis Upazila Convener Mamun Al Mahmud, AB Party Upazila Convener Tajjurul Islam spoke.
The speakers strongly demanded the immediate implementation of the referendum verdict, the July Charter, and the trial of the July murderers. Otherwise, they said they would launch a strict program. After the rally, a huge mass procession started from the outer Gola Jame Mosque square, passed the police station, circled the main roads of Sundarganj city, and ended at Swadhinata Square.
