Two-day Book Fair inaugurated in Kamalganj

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day and Amar February 21, Amar Ekushe Book Fair was inaugurated for the second time in the premises of Central Shaheed Minar of Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar for the second time on Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer joynal Abedin inaugurated the fair by cutting the ribbon as the chief guest. After that, a discussion was held.
Upazila Scout Secretary Md. Moshahid Ali participated in the discussion, Kamalganj Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee President Imtiaz Ahmed Bulbul, Kamalganj Municipality Mayor Md. Jewel Ahmed, Kamalganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Md. Saiful Islam, Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Female Vice Chairman Bilkis Begum, Writer and researcher Ahmad Siraj, Principal of Abdur Gafur Chowdhury Women's College Helal Uddin, former upazila freedom fighter commander Abdul Munim Tarafdar, former councilor of Kamalganj Municipality Anwar Hossain and Vice President of Kamalganj Press Club Shabbir Elahi.
There are 20 stalls of various organizations in the book fair. Apart from this, other two-day events include poets and writers' chats, plays, dramas and interesting cultural programs.
