Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun said, journalist leaders have met with the Police Service Association, hopefully the issue will be resolved through discussion.

All misunderstandings will end. He said this while talking to reporters after inaugurating Naval Police Training Academic Building and Firing Observation Building in Rampal area of Bagerhat on Wednesday afternoon.

He also said that Bangladesh Police works for the welfare of the people. Different police units are scattered in remote areas. Naval police are working to maintain the safety of the river. Naval Police Training Academy academic building and firing observation building was inaugurated at Rampal, Bagerhat for their training. This will be a new milestone for the region.

The police chief said, "We will earn the trust and love of the people of the country by fulfilling our duties, and we will be proud of serving the people."

As a result, the capacity of the police force has increased. Additional IGP of Naval Police Moha: Abdul Alim Mahmud, KMP Commissioner Md Mozammel Haque, DIG Khulna Range Mainul Haque, Deputy Commissioner of Bagerhat Moha: Khalid Hossain, Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat, Superintendent of Police of Naval Police Khulna Region Md Sharifur Rahman, President of Bagerhat Press Club Alhaj Talukdar Abdul Baki, General Secretary Mir Jaisi Ashrafi James along with senior officers of Khulna Range, Naval Police Khulna Region, Bagerhat District Police and Police Headquarters were present.

Earlier, the IGP visited the various obstacles, parade ground and playground constructed for the Naval Police Training Academy in Speedboat Yoga and spoke to the trainers and trainees participating in the ongoing training there.

Later he participated in the fish fry release and tree planting program in the lake of Naval Police Training Academy in Rampal.
