Kurigram Pourashava announces budget

The budget of Kurigram Municipality for the financial year 2024-25 has been announced.
Mayor Kajiul Islam announced the budget of Tk 33 crore 3 lakh 74 thousand in the meeting room of the municipality on Sunday.
Municipal Secretary Shamima Akhter, Executive Engineer Atiqur Rahman, Accounting Officer Riazul Haque Shah, District Awami League Vice President Ravi Bose, Kurigram Press Club President Raju Mostafiz, Journalist Shyamal Bhowmik and others were present.
In the proposed budget, the income and expenditure in the revenue sector is 13 crore 12 lakh 75 thousand taka and the income and expenditure in the development sector is 19 crore 11 lakh 61 thousand 4 hundred taka.
