In a joyous event at the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Lines, the RMP Cultural Club was formally inaugurated on Sunday.
The inaugural ceremony of the RMP Cultural Club was organized at the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Lines. The Police Commissioner of RMP, Mohammad Abu Sufian, was present as the chief guest at the event. He unveiled the plaque of the club and officially announced its inauguration.
In a brief speech at the inaugural event, the Police Commissioner said that alongside performing their professional duties, police members will have the opportunity for intellectual and cultural practices through this club. This will create mental tranquility among them and will have a positive impact on their workplace. The RMP Cultural Club has been established with this objective. Police members of all levels of RMP will be participants in this club. He further said that those who have skills and creativity will get the opportunity to express them through this club. After the inauguration, members of the RMP Cultural Club performed an enjoyable cultural program.
Also present on the occasion were Nazmul Hasan, PPM, Additional Police Commissioner (Crime), Mohammad Khorshed Alam, PPM, Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters), promoted to the rank of Additional DIG, and Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Police Commissioner (Force), along with senior officials and other police members.
