Patuakhali DC laid foundation stone of Krishak Bazar in Kalapara

Patuakhali Deputy Commissioner Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin laid the foundation stone of Krishak Bazar in Kalapara, Patuakhali on Wednesday afternoon.
He laid the foundation stone of this Krishak Bazar in the field adjacent to the Press Club to facilitate the marketing of agricultural products produced by farmers.
Kalapara UNO Md. Rabiul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Yasin Sadek, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Arafat Hossain, Disaster and Relief Officer M Mokchedul Alam, Assistant Director of Cyclone Preparedness Program Md. Asaduzzaman and senior officials of the district administration and upazila administration were presen at that time.
On the same day in the afternoon, he laid the foundation stone of a children's park at the initiative of the upazila administration for the recreation of children in a natural environment in the riverside area of the Khepupara Government Model Secondary School grounds. Later, he laid the foundation stone of UNO Park in the residential area of the Upazila administration.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin inaugurated the fruit festival and fruit exhibition organized by the Upazila administration at the Upazila Parishad premises. The Deputy Commissioner was impressed by the construction of an aesthetic pavilion made of various types of fruits at the fruit festival.
