In Padui Para Government Primary School of Alikadam Upazila of Bandarban, allegations of misappropriation of the entire amount of various allocations including school level improvement plan (SLIP), pre-primary class furnishing and purchase of materials and maintenance have been made against the headmaster of the school Noor Mohammad.

The residents of the school area themselves complained to the journalists. They also informed that the head teacher Noor Mohammad was not present in the school regularly.

This recently nationalized school, funded by UNDP, is heading towards destruction day by day due to the head teacher's irregularities.

In view of the verbal complaint of the locals, it was found that the school building is in a neglected condition, although the work of a new concrete building of the school is going on in the financial year 2023-24. There is not even a lock in any of the rooms to protect important assets including school furniture.

The research also revealed that in the two installments of the School Level Improvement Plan (SLIP) in the financial year 2023-2024, Tk . 25,000 is available, Rs. 40,000 for school maintenance and Tk 10,000 for furnishing and purchasing pre-primary classes, but none of it Full money without spendingPrincipal teacher Noor Mohammad embezzled.SLEEP's money is used in various ways such as drawing pictures on school walls, writing slogans, putting up school gates and nameplates, organizing various competitions and distributing prizes, making gowns for poor students and aprons for small doctors, planting a garden in the school grounds, buying soap sandal and harpic for toilets., guardianIn the assembly, there were instructions to spend this money in various ways, including entertaining the parents, buying water filters and dustbins, making Bangabandhu Karna, Muktijudha Karna and Book Karna, but none of it was done. Also, it is known from the secret investigation that the head teacher Noor Mohammad does not attend the school every day. His signature was not found in the teacher's attendance book for several days. Also, there are 78 fake students in the school's student register, but there are actually 38 students in the school.

When contacted on the phone of headmaster Noor Mohammad to find out about this, he hung up after listening to all the questions of the journalist and when he called again later, he did not receive. Later, when met in person, he asked to speak to the education officer and passed by.
Alikadam Upazila Primary Education Officer Mosharf Hossain Khan said in response to the journalist's question, "I was not aware of this matter." I will take action subject to immediate investigation. In response to another question from the journalist, he said that the headmaster has withdrawn the allocated money for the school, so he should account for the money. Strict action will be taken against anyone who has bribed someone in the office to hide these matters or if someone has asked for bribe.

It should be noted that almost all the schools that have become public from UNDP have more or less irregularities.
